Woke up early as the sun shine had us up by 7. Showered and off for breakfast at a little restaurant on the beach. Loaded our overnight bags in the boat and walked around Caye Caulker looking in some cool stores and souvenir shops. Wandered down to the Split and the Lazy Lizard 🦎 day area for sun tanning and drinks before we boarded the boat to San Pedro at 11am. Once to the docks in SanPedro we rented a golf cart for a couple hours and toured around town and out into the countryside to see how the locals live. It was so fun. I had to drive the golf cart cause I was the only one with a drivers license. There are very few cars in San Pedro but hundreds of golf carts. All hard packed sand roads complete with stop signs and red curbs where you couldn’t park. Multiple huge concrete speed bumps tossed Garnet around in the back. Lol The golf cart traffic was crazy with traffic jams at the corners. We had a great laugh. Brenda was an awesome navigator lol. At 2pm we were back on the boat and after about 1/2 hour docked at “The Secret Beach”. This was a cool day resort that had multiple bars and restaurants along the beach. There were picnic tables and swings in the water. We ordered wings and a bucket of beers and enjoyed them while we fed little yellow stripped and bigger clear fish swimming around our feet. It was so fun watching them jumping for nacho chips. After secret beach we were homeward bound. We cruised for approximately 2 hours in open water which was quite rough at times and made it back 3 min before the sunset to Orchid bay resort. Beautiful sunset. It was a fantastic tour!
