Jan 29 Day 3 Tour of Corozal

Today we started our day with a tour of  Corozal Town. Our driver Roger picked us up at 9 in Belizian time, so about 9:15 and off we went. Across 2 hand crank ferries and into town. Stopped for lunch at a typical Belizian Restaurant for Fry Jack burrito. (Like elephant ear fried dough filled with sausage, eggs and spices) delicious!  Then to the market for some road beers and off to Consejo town across from the Mexican border. As we walked to the shoreline a huge Iguana ran out from under a rock and scared the crap out of me. Omg what a view across the bay, Chetumal, Mexico. On the way back we stopped at pub where Brenda and I got chased by a goose trying to get a pic. Lol Then some more shopping at a village market and to the “One Market” for a few groceries. Then back to the resort for soup night where the communities gather to socialize and have supper together.  Met Brenda and Garnets friends Laurie and Murray, who own a beautiful house on the other side of the bay in Cerros Sands. Finally relaxing in our covered porch for the evening. Another fun filled day.
